Live Blogging Sprint Cup Series From Chicagoland (TNT - 6:30PM ET)
This is the final TNT race of 2010 and the six race package has been an interesting mix of television moments. As usual, there are positives and negatives in every large scale TV production.
Chicagoland Speedway yielded an awful race on the Nationwide Series side Friday night. NASCAR manipulated the outcome with several questionable debris caution flags that ultimately wrecked a lot of cars and handed the win to Kyle Busch in a confusing final restart. If that is the sport NASCAR wants to present, TNT is going to have a long night.
The Sprint Cup drivers are now divided into three camps. First, the teams already positioned squarely in the Chase. Second, the teams on the bubble and finally those teams with nothing to lose who will take any chance to win. This is a familiar scenario in the new points format.
Lindsay Czarniak will host the pre-race Countdown to Green show and she will set the tone. Either TNT will continue to look at the season as a whole or simply concentrate its time and effort on this final race. That should be an interesting decision.
Kyle Petty and Larry McReynolds have been solid together on the pre-race show. They respect each other on the air and McReynolds seems to finally have awakened from his self-imposed ban on saying anything perceived to be negative about the sport. Petty brings out opinions in whomever he works with and that is a wonderful trait.
TNT's pre-race features have been a hit. Pride of NASCAR has been so much more than the garbage offered by FOX and Wally's World is a humorous way of getting fans familiar with the various tracks. Having one Cup driver as a guest live before the race has also been a simple but effective tool for TNT.
Adam Alexander has been solid in his information and his comments, but he has not shown the natural spark of excitement that veteran TV play-by-play announcers need. This has put Petty and Wally Dallenbach Jr. in the position of trying to add emotion and excitement to the telecasts.
While Daytona put Alexander in the position of directing traffic for the Wide Open coverage, this Saturday in Chicagoland the telecast will return to full-screen commercials and the regular format. If the Nationwide Series race is any indication, Alexander is going to have his work cut-out for him where excitement is concerned.
TNT's Ralph Sheheen filled-in last season after the departure of Bill Weber. Many thought that Sheheen would again be the choice in the TV booth for his natural excitement and enthusiasm. Instead, he has been having a super summer on pit road.
Sheheen's interview with an angry Kyle Busch should serve as an example of exactly how to handle the high-profile and volatile Sprint Cup Series drivers. So often, they are allowed to make angry or sarcastic comments without being called out on the spot. Sheheen showed how that should be handled live on national TV.
Marty Snider and Matt Yocum have flown under the radar for TNT. They have been in the right spot at the right time and provided the right information. The glaring problem on this team is Phil Parsons. From his floundering interview with Kevin Harvick in Pocono to his constantly congratulating drivers on the air, Parsons was simply the wrong choice for this assignment.
Chicagoland should give TNT an opportunity to follow several storylines and use the content presented in the pre-race show as a theme. The long periods of green flag racing at this track can leave a TV team flat-footed without stories to follow that were presented earlier to viewers.
Luckily, the track makes great TV pictures, especially after sunset. It will be up to the director to keep the camera wide and show packs of cars racing. Otherwise, racing on this track winds-up looking like a Goodyear tire test or practice session.
RaceBuddy will be offered for the final time on NASCAR.com without charge. This online addition has been a big positive for the coverage. The Turner Sports folks are still at an impasse with FOX and ESPN. There are currently no plans to offer any online applications of this type for the rest of the Sprint Cup season.
The "extended" post-race shows on NASCAR.com have just not worked out. By the time fans who are viewing on TV got to the computer, powered it up and logged on the program was basically over. There was also no ability to rewind and view it again.
There is little doubt that to solve the problem of attracting and keeping the younger fans NASCAR must move in an online direction immediately. How and when this will be done is still a mystery now four years into the current TV contract.
This post will serve to host your comments before, during and after the Sprint Cup Series race from Chicagoland. To add your TV or media-related comment, just click on the comments button below. This is a family-friendly website, please keep that in mind when posting.

«Oldest ‹Older 201 – 400 of 440 Newer› Newest»Every time I see this Sprint ad I just shake my head. The ONLY reason I have a cell phone is for calls. Mostly for emergencies only.
David, one thing they could do is go to ONE race at each track - that would shorten the season and make it so that races would be more in demand.
JD..... You sound like the president of the Jim Noble fan club
And there goes Cassil. Parked.
have you noticed that the battle cam is useless tonight? there aren't any battles to watch
Never knew him before RaceBuddy. He has worked hard.
@Gina...yes, I noticed that, too. And no one seems to get why fans hate these tracks!!!!!
Gina, good point!
Lots of commercials.
Gina
On my second & final Margarita. I'm not getting annoyed at all the boringness. :)
Used fresh squeezed lime & orange juice & some simple syrup instead of Sweet & Sour Mix. Delish. Good Tequila Hose Gold --everybody is OUT of Silver which I prefer! Warehouses can't get at two stores, budget Triple Sec.
Helps the tolerance of the race folks. Not that I'm promoting drinking.
I LOVED last week with the Wide Open coverage. Is this why so many commercials or are they front loading??
So glad Larry Mac explained what a radiator is for.
shoot, that's a shame for Landon
Gina, I am okay with certain tracks having 2 dates for various reasons. Richmond, Martinsville, Bristol, Daytona, Charlotte, and Talladega being great examples. Texas too since they do extremely well and are a very loyal fanbase.
but every other track should be on notice. Charlotte is Charlotte, if they were willing to go back to Rockingham or renovate Wilkes, then 1 Charlotte date would be good I think.
It's hard though because of what you promise networks and sponsors like Sprint that if you did a major realignment like that there is not telling how they would react
Sally - yes, of course, I'm just a fan, what do I know about good racing?
I think Noble worked for Totally NASCAR as a reporter during its final season if I'm not mistaken (him and Sean Progano).
Sally
I only use my cell phone 10% of the time. I do NOT TEXT.
If they want me to text, they better have a huge screen & keyboard as big as my laptop on my phone.
LOVE my landline & quality of sound.
JJ still leading. ZZZzzz
Sally--
Larry Mac is just getting us ready for his replacement at the Brickyard, Tim Brewer.
yum, Sophia, your recipe sounds good. I'm enjoying a Mike's myself -- too lazy to make something that requires mixing
I may have to pop the cork on the Merlot to get thru this!
They are missing green flag stops
Have the season start in March and end in August.
Have one track be a dirt track.
David, I would probably pick and choose my favorites too to have 2 races. But you're right, the sponsorship stuff would definitely need working out.
And NASCAR doesn't do that sort of thing as evidenced by the way they have signed away rights to various things and the TV contracts that a monkey must have negotiated.
Sophia - I am with you ZZZZZ
LOL the drinking is starting early, ladies!
And remember, 'La Brian' negotiated that contract. The same one who came up with the crapshoot, the COT and the top 35 rule. What a record!
Tracy - its 5 o clock somewhere
Sally, I stand by my assertion - a monkey negotiated all that although that is probably insulting to monkeys
The 'battle cam' is covering pit stops...guess that means the only battle is on pit road!
OK, do we need to see the 48 alone until he gets to the front again?
Gina---most monkeys are much cuter, and probably smarter.
Gina, LOL
48 is flying right now though
Whew, this is a tough one for sure.
With all this criticizing of cookie cutter tracks, may I suggest rewarding promoters that build tracks that don't fit the mold?
They built a short-track in Iowa, and the Nashville track is concrete.
Imagine if they had built a high banked 3/4 mile in Chicago instead of this. Bristol has proved you can build lots of seats at a short-track.
I feel badly for TNT. They got stuck with the mid summer part of the season (when most people take vacations, and this can easily travel to races), and this is the consistantly sucky part of the season.
And, when you mess with the track configuration, the cars, and the season title race format, even a track like Bristol won't sell out.
Kylie Busch out of the top 10 YAY
HOPE JIMMIE WRECKS
Sally, Bristol was so boring when we went last spring, we decided we could skip it from here on out. The new surface ruined the excitement factor, I fear. I know the drivers are happier, however. But I'm not paying for Bristol when Richmond is better racing now. Well, it was until the last race.
David, if I'd known that, I would have sold you my season tickets last year. Didn't renew this year.
@Tracy, I thought the racing there started going downhill when the chase started. everyone tip-toeing around the top 10/12.
I'm sure there's a good answer, but why can ESPN's World Cup coverage go for 45 minutes and stoppage time without commercials?
Gina - I like Bristol and Loudon and Richmond ... I don't even watch the Oct M'ville race anymore since we already know "who" will win ...
I want them to add Miller Motorsports Park ... say in early April or late October ...
TNT's "through the field" wasn't even the WHOLE field ... Tell me WTF happened to the # 77 car to where it started 5th and is now 26th & 1 lap down at lap 115 ...
KP just said something funny, last week that guy won and this week we're not even talking about him.
OK, the ARCA race on SPEED at 9PM is live. There, I said it!
I have no idea how guys like Larry Mac can say races like this are great, and that the cookie cutter tracks aren't really cookie cutter. I know they have to kowtow to the bigwigs at Nascar, but do they really think we're all that stupid?
NASCAR needs major changes, sooner rather than later. Having these guys just running around trying to collect points for the Chase is boring times ten. They need to force these guys to race hard for wins, not points collecting.
I'm sorry, but the racing at this track just SUCKS! And I miss Benny w/the AFLAC thing...I'm out!
This is soooo booooring!! Last nights race was booooring, too! I think it's the track, not the booth. I will probably switch to the ARCA race in a few.... YAWN!! If I'm still awake... zzzzzzz
WOW! I didn't realize the tix were that much! No wonder hardly anyone is there! That's a LOT and if a family even if kids tix are half that that's still $900 for a family of 4. I could understand if the tix came with a perk but if that's the basic sit in any ol' seat price that's ridiculous! They definitely need to allow folks to buy single day tix!
Did he Steve? I don't remember him on TN but remember Sean!
*giggles* Sally if he keeps it up Capt.Obvious (Brewer) is going to have some competition for the name. Maybe Larry Mac would be Capt. Obvious II.
Geez ... They consider running in 13th is struggling ?!?!? Oh, puh-leaze ...
I wouldn't pay to go back to Bristol now. I agree that for me the chase format plus the track reconfiguring just made it not as much fun to watch.
I agree that monkeys are cuter and would probably do a better press conference too
I'm with you - I hope the 48 wrecks. It really is boring when its the same car out front all the time.
Gymmie...or, Captain Merely Obvious to Captain Incredibly Obvious!
ARCA....shhh....
ah, tia - I know the feeling. Believe me, I often wonder why I bother to go except that I really do like the racing at M'ville. Like Richmond too but the cops in the free parking area are a little too overzealous in my opinion.
I don't appreciate being treated as public enemy #1 while I'm waiting around to go into the track --- and no, we were NOT drinking -- just hanging out reading.
Nascar's answer to the problem is to offer more bells and whistles instead of harder racing.
Debris caution.
Random question, I thought ReMax was out as ARCA title sponsor...splitting with Menards now?
Heard that NASCAR has spoke to Andy Hillenburg at Rockingham about a NW and truck series date - IF he installs safer barriers.
Anon -- I would agree that NASCAR should not add another D-shaped mile and a half oval to the schedule.
All the drivers talked about how they would like another Richmond-style track.
As we discussed, I would love to see the trucks get off he big tracks and back to the bull rings.
Andy won't do it. That's at least a 10 million dollar investment for a series still in identity crisis
JD
thanks for arca info. Is Kenny Schrader in the booth or the race for this one?
I just did a few dishes=boring race. That Tequila sneaks up on you and I made relatively weak drinks! 1.5 jiggers T for two of us, 3/4 jigger of Triple Sec.
TNT deserves to cover better races.
I just onw noticed that PIT OUT thingie on the 52 inch tv :)
Goofy
Gymmie-
Yep. He was a fill-in reporter for Progano in 2004.
Gymmie - Chairman Mao priced the tickets a couple yrs ago ... You had to buy the package that included the IRL / Indy Lights / ARCA / Cup / Nwide ... No single race tickets for anything ... She found that it was cheaper to go to the Brickyard or MIS ...
WHY does NASCAR lecture us that "cookie cutter tracks are different and NOT boring?"
I beg to differ.
#insultToRacingfans
oops, twitter tag
Tipsy. Thinking of making a cake or brownies.
Sophia, if you make brownies you have to share!
Schrader is with Rick Allen and Michael Waltrip. Phil Parsons is a little busy tonight.
Gordon just asked how many laps to go? They are just halfway -- even the drivers can't wait for it to be over.
thanks for the reminder, JD. Gonna listen to Kenny for a few - he always makes me laugh
JD - WHY is it that Catchfence already has the starting lineup for the Truck race listed and NOL doesn't??
It's a rhetorical question ...
GET THE DANG CAMERA OUT OF THE TOP 5!!!!!!!
WHAT THE HECK MAN?!
Well that was interesting....Jimmie?
Sophia -- they lecture us because they are convinced the fans are stupid and if they just keep saying it over and over we will eventually learn and agree with them.
How is that working our for them do you think?
oh boy, that's right Mikey is there too - hmm maybe a trade off for me - boring race? Listen to Mikey?
man JJ got lucky there, didn't break a brace
David, but yes, he'll be "mad" now because someone dared to race him.
So Captain Magnifico goes for a spin ... but doesn't wreck ...
Now they'll play up the whole "can he come from the back to win?" crap ...
see, tia, JJ is providing the excitement for nascar tonight
@Sally LOL! Yes we could!
@Steve--oh that might be why I don't 'member him I was moving that year and without SPEED for a long while.
@Seattle I'm sure it was!
Gina, I complained to the Richmond track powers that be about the police last fall. We'd invited a bunch of people who had never been to a track before, and I planned a huge tailgate party before and after the race. We usually eat again after the race and wait for the intoxicated drivers to leave first, then we take off when it's less crowded getting out.
So I've set up the grill, we're all chatting and having a good time (and NONE of are drinkers, so we were stone cold sober), and the police cruise by, stop and say "we're the unwelcome committee. Time to leave." We're not talking really late - the lot had a ton of people. It was really embarrassing, the way they said it, as if we were little kiddies who needed chiding to do the right thing.
None of our friends have wanted to go to another race.
Captain Magnifico! I love it. Although that's not what I usually refer to him as -- but this is a family friendly site
wow, look shots of the back of the field -- oh wait, that's because Capt Magnifico is back there
Yes it is....thank you.
Who is Captain Magnifico???
I.Q. dropped after Margarita
:)
Okay Sophia, you're the levity factor tonight. Much needed levity.
Tracy, you are right on - that was our experience too and this was before the race. I wrote to the track, to the Va chamber of commerce - you know the ones who say Va is for lovers? - the Henrico Co cops - everyone I could think of. I did speak to a police captain who starte off the conversation with "are you the woman from NJ?" I asked him if he was profiling me? I assumed he didn't like yankees.
Way too scary for me when the cops are the unwelcome committee. Serve and protect my butt - not in Henrico Co.
We decided after that to not renew our tickets and haven't been back. I can vote with my $.
If El Perfecto comes back to win this race, they must rip that car apart to see what cheatin' Chad did to it.
JD, I get a gold star for being a good girl! LOL
Mike Waltrip to Schrader: we haven't worked together in a while. I'd forgotten how dumb you think I am. ROFLOL
Sophia -- all of the "special" names are for the driver of the 48 car - just in case you really wanted to know!
I've got news for Mikey - its not just Schrader's opinion
Sorry, NASCAR politics only!
The sunset at the track on RB looks great!
Does anyone think the talking heads, including all the guys on Sirius, truly believe that Nascar has provided great racing? How do they all spew that crap, and still can face fans when they are out in public?
thanks, JD. NASCAR politics are bad enough
so funny watching the arca race and seeing so few cars on pit road
Whew! This is rough for even hardcore fans like me.
REJOICE MY FRIENDS THE 48 HIT THE WALL AND HAS PIT!
D - they get paid by Nascar associated entities to spout the approved party line
Gina
Yes I really needed to know but now that you answered, feel like a dumb$$$.
I have not drunk hard liquor in years!!! long story how I had a Liter bottle of Hose Gold given to me.
Watching ARCA at the moment. Taping both races.
I don't know how to do PIP in this 52 inch tv and house mate got bored and went to his room to watch TV!
Fun hearing Mikey & Schrader together.
Miss the old TWIN/IWC.
sigh....that show really helped me feel connected to the drivers...
Darcie,
Is paycheck one word or two? Paycheck....pay check....
David -- and the fans go wild! yay
Think I might have broken out of break for that one....
you are right, that is a pretty sunset
Gina i bet your going wild considering what happens when Jeff leads
Maybe the lack of sleep with the new baby has caught up with JJ?
i am i am cheering wildly
Bunch of NASCAR reporters watching tonight at home on TV and they are finally getting a good taste of the frustrations we have had for the last four seasons.
Pretty hilarious.
I was simply trying to find out IF it was a locally or nationally inserted PSA ...
Sophia, you need to toast that move!
That STINKS for ROBBY!!!
Paging Robby Gordon....congrats Robby!
Bummer for Bill.
Brian Pattie is hilarious on the radio
locally tia, never saw it here
and the 21 of course..can't believe Robby hit him..odd video..sheesh
David, I have few reasons to be happy these days so I will take what I can get
JD, does that mean they will finally understand that the complaints about the tracks and the coverage we have been complaining about all this time? Or will they still think we're a bunch of ignorant whiners?
Dang cars came off the ground.. :(
gina, your boy is 2nd in points....take it all in stride!
Geeao pete! Now we get the camber lecture again?
JD, I don't feel a bit sorry for them. We fans have put up with this silliness for way too long.
Maybe they should WRITE about some of it instead of sweeping it under the rug. Any of us who have been to a race know what a huge difference it is between being AT the track and what is seen on TV at home.
Larry, what is a tire? Can you explain that?
Cars coming off the ground are cause by the bad economy:)
Sophia, you are too funny. I like tequila but it has a very strong effect on me so I am very careful when I drink it.
It doesn't always bring out the "best" in me! LOL
I'm waiting for Larry Mac to explain that liquid coming from Robby's car was water from the radiator.
LOL,David. I'm really happy about that NOW but it doesn't matter when they reset the points unless he's got some wins.
In 07 he would have wiped the floor with all of them under the old points system -- it killed me that he lost that year to Capt. Magnifico
Anon, David, Sally -- priceless!
Wonder why Kyle Petty isn't tweeting.
Sally
Toast WHAT move? Was watching ARCA, then clicked back to CUP just in time for the wreck.
Getting dizzy.
Gorgeous sky of camera work on TNT tonight....
Loved the ARCA coverage.
Just my opinion:
I understand why TV folks have been saying that the “cookie cutter” tracks are not all the same. They are speaking from a driver or crew chief point-of-view. Drivers drive these tracks differently and crew chiefs bring different cars and/or set-ups for each of these tracks. So to them the tracks are all different. For the viewers at home, all of these tracks do not produce great viewing so it seems the same.
Been checking in on the ARCA race and hearing Kenny give Mikey a rough time not only brings a smile, it brings back a lot of good memories. :)
Ty Dillon is doing well in the ARCA race. Nice to RC's grandkids racing!
yayyyy!
ding dong the 48s done,
hahaha hohoho, the boring 48's done!
iho, we're merry-o
no 48 win today!
apologies to wizard of oz
I wont declare the 48 dead yet lol.
and to think I ran him in fantasy too. And million dollar too.
The Ragan post is a troll...
This should be a very intersting off season.
interesting......duh!
Tracey, there seems to be one Anon who always posts something similar on here every race. I have no idea what he's talking about., but he's consistent with it.
the 42 has glued a spacer on the left side rear since they had a loose wheel. I believe their plan is to only do right sides the rest of the night
Tracy, we have a saying here "please don't feed the trolls."
OK?
yeah, I never count the 48 out until they haul it off on a hook. He's like a zombie some days. Ugh
Thanks for the troll info. It was so odd a post for this blog. I should have guessed.
Looooong way to go here!
Harvick to the garage! Oh no.
Did they mention the 29 is off track?
Does Phil have any interviewing skills? Jim and Phil need a swap.
ARCA race has full grandstands at Iowa with 0 Cuppers. If ARCA can do it, the Nationwide series can do it too.
What was that comment earlier about TWEETING Kyle P said...after break...anybody notice that..sounds like they thought they were off mic.
Lisa, agreed on the cookie cutter track issue - I'm sure it is different from the driver/crew chief perspective, but we fans don't experience that aspect - perception is reality and the fan reality is these tracks produce boring races especially if you only watch them on TV.
Pocono on the other hand, especially since they changed the gear rule so they don't shift produces boring races in person AND on TV - IMO
Fuel pump cable? Wow, and on the point leader.
Can anyone get the Leaderboard on Race Buddy? Mine is blank.
Adam, don't jinx it -- there's way too much racing to go
I want a creamy whip! Chocolate, darn it. But can't drive to get it.
yea, i'm bored, wanna make something of it ;-D
Commercial on ARCA race, too.
Charlie, Kyle must be mesmerized by the exciting racing he's seeing so has no time to tweet. :)
Does anyone happen to know what the ticket prices were for the ARCA race?
JD, its interesting especially since Chad just discussed on NP the re-designed hex drive on the fuel pumps....so that is an odd failure now.
REUTY!!!!!!!! DIGGGGG!!!!
Been working on finding out why Kyle Petty has not tweeted with fans today since TNT went on the air.
Should be an interesting explanation why the change after five races. Hmm...
STINKS ARCA on against last TNT race.
LOVE hearing Kenny Schrader again!!!!!!!!!!!!
JD, there was a lot of problem with that part when they first changed to this style of fuel pump.
Tracy D - If you are on Firefox and use adblock you might want to try turning adblock off for that page, hit refresh and see if that helps.
Funny story by Schrader about Mikey and the U of Kentucky. Every weekend for the football, LOL.
I miss having two tvs in Living room for two races like this. ARCA sounds fun..will watch after this race.
Spoiled rotten.
JD-
I believe that Adam passed away ten years ago today.
Does anyone know who the 4th voice in the ARCA booth is?
Charlie, yes, good idea. Will give it a try.
Lisa -- I know that's true -- I always lose weight at the track. :)
The 4th voice is Austin Dillon in the booth.
Ah Captain Obvious strikes again -- if it stays green, it will be decided on pit road!
No kidding
Thanks Tracy! I actually enjoy Austin in the booth, he interupts MW's annoying blabber.
JD, just jumpin in to ask. Any news on a race buddy deal with ESPN or Fox? I am going to miss it with no more cable. TNT has by far done the very best in sports broadcasting of this sport to date.
Well, if today is the anniversary of Adam's death, I can understand why Kyle would be more quiet.
Racing Fool,
Someone has to pay Turner. The camera shots already exist, but its the RaceBuddy software and equipment that has a cost.
So far, FOX and ESPN are looking at NASCAR and saying.....well?
Boy, David, I'm gonna sulk now! LOL
Lisa, did Kyle say something about that and what is the connection to not tweeting with fans from the TV booth?
I know it's tough for you gina but Reuty is a really likable guy. Plus if he wins with the scruff DW will have a fit!!!
And NASCAR of course is saying - nothing because they would have to invest $$ into their product
Gina, this is Adam's birthday. I think he would have been 30. He's been missed and will be for many years to come.
David, could he please win another week? I would really like Jeff to win a race .... soon.
I think for the first time this year, Edwards is one of the fastest cars on track. 99, 00 equal laps, 33 is pretty quick and about to take 2nd. This race got alot more compelling after JJ had his issues!
I wonder if Michael Waltrip will continue to praise Nascar's show cautions when this week's phantom yellow screws Reutimann out of the win LOL.
Tracey, good info. Thanks. Yes, it never gets better when you have lost a loved one.
From USA Today's Nate Ryan: In response to being told Greg Biffle down a cylinder, Jeff Gordon said, "That's all right, the 34 (i.e Conway) is down a driver."
I thought today was the date of Adam's birth...but thought I saw Tweets from Kyle earlier...but yea, before TNT went on the air.
Austin Dillon is a natural in the booth. He's doing a good job!
I think MW called them a "TV timeout!" Classic.
LOL Gordon has been very quote worthy this year
I think we all agree on that, David. Unless you're a 48 fan having the same guy leading and winning every week just isn't interesting to a wide group of people.
Mikey will say whatever NASCAR tells him to say
Ok..I need a BLT..that second Margarita is kicking in and I did not eat anything all day but small plate of spaghetti for dinner.
have tv in kitchen. Je 30th 2 laps down? What happened for him to do a GF pit stop?
yeah, Jeff has not been too complimentary to Conway's driving. That's not the first disparaging remark about him
I thought I heard Kyle say that he wasn't ALLOWED to tweet, then he offered his phone to Wally, who said no thanks.
scheduled Sophia
It really sucks that I can't get race buddy on my iPad.
Was watching golf today on Tv and I think Paul GoyDos could be Terry Labonte's brother. I think they look a bit alike.
Sophia, JJ hit the wall a while back. It put him 2 laps downs but he got one back on the wavearound.
You are making me hungry talking about food.
I had bruschetta at lunch time and ice cream for dinner -- a balanced diet for sure.
Darcie, do you like your iPad?
Not to beat a dead horse, but seriously . . . .Phil Parsons, who serves on MW's board, calls truck races with him, and gets his start and park Toyotas from him is covering the pit of the leading #00, which Mikey owns?
What is the scheduled lap that Nascar is going to throw the yellow.
I forgot to check.
Tracy, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it except it won't support Flash.
Commercial overload!
Steve,
That is the issue. He has been tweeting with us in every one of the other five races, so what happened on this last one?
If TNT had a clue, they would start reading tweets from fans on the air and talking about them.
Anon and doing it SO well! LOL -- that's a joke, just like having Parson's doing that coverage. TNT should at least make arrangements for him to not cover clear conflicts of interest.
Well 26 to go, Edwards in 2nd and faster then Reutimann. David feels a vibration, this could get VERY interesting if they LET IT GO GREEN TO END!
Austin is doing a nice job -- holding his own with all the rest in the ARCA booth
