Live Blogging CWTS Practice and Race Hub (SPEED - 6PM)

SPEED returns with Camping World Truck Series practice at 6PM. Rick Allen, Michael Waltrip and Phil Parsons are in the booth. Ray Dunlap and Adam Alexander are reporting from the garage area.

Race Hub will follow CWTS practice. Randy Pemberton will host from the studio with his guest David Gilliland. Bob Dillner will report from Daytona.

Live Blogging Nationwide Series Practice (ESPN2 - 3PM ET)

Here we go with one of the most interesting televised practice sessions in recent NASCAR history. The field for the Nationwide Series race at Daytona includes 14 Sprint Cup drivers and many other seasoned veterans. Then, there is Danica.

ESPN2 added this live coverage after Patrick committed to this event. That should clearly speak to the "Danica effect" that has happened since here ARCA debut.

Marty Reid will call the telecast with Dale Jarrett and Andy Petree alongside. This session may also signal the debut of Dr. Jerry Punch, who is returning to his pit road reporter role this season. Vince Welch, Dave Burns and Jamie Little are the other ESPN pit reporters.

The focus will be squarely on Patrick as she takes to the track for the first time with the big boys. This session is focused on drafting and running in big packs, which is exactly what Patrick has not done in this type of car.

Live Blogging SPEED at Daytona (11AM to 3PM)

Let's start the day with SPEED trying to step around the Danica issue and present live news and interview shows built around the early sessions of Sprint Cup Series practice.

John Roberts kicks things off at 11AM with NASCAR Live. It is cold in Daytona and going to be very cold tonight. Thankfully, the forecast is not for rain. Dave Despain is also on the program along with Ken Squier, Kyle Petty and Jeff Hammond.

This is SPEED's hybrid Daytona crew and while it is interesting to hear Despain, Squier and Hammond talk about topics, it will be Roberts and Petty working for the network at every Sprint Cup Series race all season long.

The NASCAR on Fox crew steps in to handle both sessions of Sprint Cup Series practice at 12PM and 2PM. Mike Joy returns to SPEED after calling the Bud Shoot Out for Fox Sports. He brings Darrell Waltrip and Larry McReynolds along with him.

These practice sessions are going to be key to teams seeing how their cars do in the draft with the new restrictor plates and higher speeds. The big concern after the Shoot Out was the faster closing rates and the resulting problems.

SPEED will have a ton of reporters in the garage area for both NASCAR Live and the Cup practice sessions. There should be lots of good information for the fans as the new season starts.

We will start a new live blog for the 3PM Nationwide Series featuring Danica Patrick in the field driving the #7 for JR Motorsports. That two hour telecast will be on ESPN with Marty Reid, Dale Jarrett and Andy Petree.

Wednesday Live Blog From Daytona (10AM to 8PM)

Wednesday will be day one of full-blown coverage of the on track activity from Daytona. With ESPN adding live coverage of the afternoon Nationwide Series practice, that means all three NASCAR touring series will be on the track and on TV.
