It was Headbangers Ball. But that said, it doesn't qualify him to be some kind of "expert" on RaceDay. I do agree there is a whole lot of salt involved with Mr. Spencer. Too much for my taste.Vincehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15530553847645526841noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2080132098367510832.post-46057499016896680742007-06-11T10:55:00.000-04:002007-06-11T10:55:00.000-04:00I agree that Jimmy's comments were out of line abo...I agree that Jimmy's comments were out of line about Ms. Elledge. You may remember a column on this site about that specific topic. On the whole, RaceDay allows the NASCAR world to just "be" and brings it to the fan. As I mentioned in this column, there is a whole lot of salt involved with Mr. Spencer.Daly Planet Editorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13834588435004023666noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2080132098367510832.post-38588808420856616952007-06-11T10:07:00.000-04:002007-06-11T10:07:00.000-04:00Well, I turned on the TV Sunday morning and checke...Well, I turned on the TV Sunday morning and checked out NascarNow first. I saw Erik K. and Tim C. and immediately switched over to Speed's RaceDay. I guess the ESPN execs still don't get it. Anybody have a baseball bat I can borrow??!!!

Anyway.....RaceDay was doing there usual good job. I like John Roberts and think he's perfect for the host of this show. Herman (Kenny) is good, except for his self promotion to get in the All Star race at Charlotte a while back. I don't really like Jimmy, Mr. Excitement, Spencer. As far as I'm concerned the best thing he's done in NASCAR is when he punched Kurt Busch in the mouth at the Michigan race a few years ago.

I don't know why RaceDay has that Ricky, what ever his name is, on at the end of the show to pick his winner and argue with Jimmy Spencer. What does he have to do with NASCAR? So he hosted Monsters Ball on MTV years ago. Does that make him a NASCAR expert? He's a creep, get him off the set!!

I do have to disagree with you on one point. Towards the end of your column you made the comment "They don't judge, they just experience." about the RaceDay crew. I guess you forgot about Jimmy blasting Kelley Earnhardt Elledge for using Earnhardt in her name a few weeks ago. If that wasn't judgemental, I don't know what is.Vincehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15530553847645526841noreply@blogger.com
