  5. I heard that speed had upgraded the cameras and the trucks for trackside to HD equipment. although they still don't broadcast in HD. Is this true?

  6. I "think" JD and another site has announced SPEED will be HD by SPEEDWEEKS at Daytona IIRC

    If I recall correctly.

  7. I know that, but I heard they made upgrades at the speed stage already, before 2008.

  8. I just realized that I had a blog account so I can stop being one of those anoy. people. Show going well so far except for that brief camera movement when focused on Hammond early in the show

  9. Only on Trackside can they ask a guy when he's asking the girlfried to marry him. Wow look at Clint blush but this is why I love this show

  10. new race fan

i had forgotten I had a blog as I started one and then stopped it as I found it hard to navigate. Got a gmail account (for part time use) and when I went to a local newspaper writers blog was SHOCKED to see SOPHIA in blue.

    Came here, the same thing.

What I want to know is how do you get your name in BLACK HERE?

I must say it was nice to see Clint on here and I missed part of JK interview. Wish he could've finished the race tonhigt.

These guys do have such a good time here...but I just gotta comment on the goat tee thing on Hammond.

    That's all I am saying....

  11. I just learned we can delete our own comments here.

I am glad these guys reminded me of the last ARCA race on Sunday. Saw Schrader win in Toledo last year. :-)

  12. I don't like it when they interview non Nascar people but then I do not watch other sports so it might just be me. The guys still seem to have fun though. I think the blue has to do with the fact that you are a google blogger it's actually a link to a profile which most people leave blank

  14. I have to agree, why was this football guy on? I started channel surfing as I am only into NASCAR or IRL sometimes. I tapdance around F1 to know who Hamilton and Alonso and Massa are...

I guess there was a NASCAR connection with the football guy?? but it did not interest me.

And I could HEAR the guys tonight...crowd wasnt as loud as some.

  15. They do this with celebrities who attend the race. Last year at Joliet Steve Williams, the caddy for golfer Tiger Woods, appeared on the show. Williams is a Valvoline-sponsored dirt-track racer in the summer (New Zealand is in the Southern Hemisphere, remember) who even had Woods appear in a celebrity dirt track race for his wedding week. Of course, if Woods plays a tournament or two in Australia, there will be Valvoline in his Holden, since his caddy endorses it.

  16. Jim Kelly, like Brad D., is a former Busch series owner.

  17. Did you ever notice how many of these other-sports folks have discovered how easy it to become a former Truck, Busch, or Cup owner?

Gee, that racing stuff looks like fun. I think I'l buy me a team. How hard could it be?
