Update For New Readers

Thank you for the email and comments asking about me and this Daly Planet project.

Becca Gladden of Insider Racing News was kind enough to do an article about me and this on-going Internet conversation about NASCAR TV.

Here is the link to the article for those of you who would like to read it.

Thanks again for your interest, but it is the fans and readers who provided thousands of great comments over the last ten months who have made this site a success. Thanks also to the media members who have contributed their time and information to help keep NASCAR fans informed about various TV issues.

It is so nice to have a forum for the fan to be able to express their opinion and have some meaningful discussion about media coverage of the sport we love so much. Thanks for this opportunity.

Outstanding interview, JD.

The more people who know what you've been writing about here, the better.

Since I'm the only NASCAR fan in my household, I really appreciate this site.

JD, thanks for your balance writing and answers. I've also learned a lot from those who write their opinions.

Thanks, again

JD- GREAT INTERVIEW. I have been tremendously disappointed in TNT and NASCAR NOW, in particular, and ESPN in general this season. One of the few things that made it better was knowing I am not mistaken and not the only fan that felt disappointed - and especially your being able to express the shortcomings from the perspective of an expert. THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

In your interview you mention that all time great TV show "This Week In NASCAR". Whatever happened to the creative genius who produced that show?
