ARCA coverage gets a boost. Ricky Carmichael, the 10 time AMA Motorcross champ has been running in the Camping World East series for Kenny Schrader Racing. Now, Kevin Harvick Inc. is putting Carmichael into an ARCA car and letting him try Talladega.
SPEED will have live race coverage on October 3rd at 5PM Eastern Time.

Update: "Three Wide Life" Gets A Call From Sprint

Well, this was supposed to be the opening week of "Ms. Sprint" Monica Palumbo working as the new host of Three Wide Life. Unfortunately, Sprint had some other ideas about her wearing two hats for the last nine race weekends of the season.

Needless to say, Palumbo is not going to step into that role. That is a shame for Palumbo, who seemed to be a good choice with her past TV experience.

Stepping into that role shortly will be Brittney Cason, a Charlotte local and an experienced host and writer. That is Ms. Cason, pictured above.

Three Wide Life goes back into production shortly, so we will keep you updated on when the first new episode hits the air.

46 cars entered at Dover in the Sprint Cup race. The list includes a TBA, Stanton Barrett, and Johnny Sauter in the FUBAR Dodge. So, 43 full-time teams.
43 cars entered at Dover in the Nationwide race. The list includes Morgan Shepherd, Justin Hobgood and Johnny Chapman. Lots of starting and parking going-on.
31 trucks entered at Las Vegas in the Craftsman Truck race. The list includes a TBA, John Andretti and Andy Lally. Without these three, the count would be 28.
