In-Progress At Atlanta: NASCAR RaceDay On SPEED

Noon Eastern Time on Sunday will begin the two hour live RaceDay program on SPEED.

With the Martinsville show moved-up to an earlier timeslot because of a network scheduling issue, this show will now return to its normal schedule of competing head-to-head with ABC's NASCAR Countdown.

John Roberts hosts the program, with Jimmy Spencer and Kenny Wallace alongside. Wendy Venturini reports from the garage area and pit road, and Hermie Sadler offers the track description and SPEED-1 ride-a-long camera car feature. Ricki Rachtman stops-by to participate in the RaceDay "office pool" and pick a race winner.

This page will host your comments about this two hour program on SPEED. Please restrict your comments to the TV issues associated with this show, and read the rules for posting on the right side of the main page before doing so.

To add your comment, simply click on the COMMENTS button below, and follow the instructions. There is nothing to join, and we do not require your email address. Thanks again for taking the time to stop-by and leave your TV opinion at The Daly Planet.

Has anyone ever clicked on the handicaped icon for the Word Verification? What language is that? Sounds like Klingon?

As for todays Raceday, lets see what they focus on, will it be Carl Edwards or?

I guess they are really de emphasising the roles of Rachtman on the show.

i think he lost a bet.

yes I have clicked onthe handicapped icon a LOT!

You can NOT understand it and it sounds like 20 people speaking in the background. sometimes it has helped and they give you "numbers" other time, the sound is SO BAD I have no clue what I am being told to type.

I have to enlarge the text a LOT to read on the computer and sometimes the LONG word veri's annoy me to NO end. But this site is better than most..>I don't even try the word veri where everything is VERY VERY DISTORTED. I know it cuts down on spam but sadly it does NOT keep out the trolls.:(

They need to make the SOUND VERI EASIER to hear. Agreed.

GLAD to see somebody else bring this up

:-)

As usual, Race Day was worth the viewing.

great show as always. I love Wendy I wish she was on more. I even liked the Rutledge piece and he usually annoys me. Now off to ABC let's pray

How about Wallace begging for a sponsor?? What a loser, don't put that on us...cut back on your TV and get out there looking. He just broke into the begging out of the clear blue!

I also thought the Rutledge piece was funny ..the spoof on LAVERNE and SHIRLEY in the beer factory song, lol

clicked the handicap icon and need a handicap icon to listen to the handicap icon. What the hell language is that?

It's actually kinda comical...

Especially, the "Once again.." where the garbled letters are just as incomprehensible as the first time.

Word Veri thing

I got new reading glasses which help but nothing will help some computer viewing, LOL. When they tell you the numbers, I can hear "OTHER numbers" being said and do not know which ones to type in? My hearing is excellent (must have been a dog in a previous life!) but trying to figure out what they are saying is odd.

Anyway, i have to say, in all the times I have watched Raceday, That tattoo guy i find scary ACTUALLY had me laughing in his Winnie the poo outfit.

I know many on boards loathe and detest RACEDAY but I love the sense of FUN!!! And I actually laughed when this guy was on today.

Also again, I loved the "Laverne and Shirley" bit with Rutleged but only caught the last few seconds of him with John Schneider. SORRY i misse whatever that was.

I have heard that in person, Rutledge comes off as a very nice young man.

I also hope Kenny gets a ride. He has been in too many "start up gigs" but when he fills in for somebody, does a decent job. Would like to see him get in a good seat.
