Merry Christmas To The Planeteers!

Finishing year five of The Daly Planet with great friends, interesting conversation and some fascinating media stories. Along the way, we have assembled a diverse group of NASCAR fans of all ages, races and nationalities. We have regular readers in Canada, the UK, South America and Australia.

The idea of this blog was to throw a different topic up into the air every day and get opinions on it from anyone who offered. Now thousands of posts, millions of pageviews and countless debates later we are taking a moment for Christmas with family.

Thanks again for continuing to stop by and hopefully your holiday was blessed with friends, family and some well deserved relaxation.

Merry Christmas, Happy Chanukah, Festive Fetivus, Happy Kwanza, etc. to all the Planeteers. This has been a great place for debate and opinion. I'm looking forward to another interesting season. Thanks, JD, for giving us this forum and for being a voice of reason, providing well articulated thought, opining with class and not letting anyone pull you down into the ugly fray that I am sometimes guilty of wallowing in. May we all have a Happy New Year!

JD,

Merry Christmas to you and yours. Enjoyed another great year reading you blog and the great comments from the Planeteers. And Merry Christmas to all the Planeteers, wishing you all a happy and safe holiday season.

Has Santa bought Brian France a brain, so he can work out what is wrong with Nascar?
Has Santa bought ESPN a heart, so they can put right the telecast?
Has Santa bought Fox some courage, to dump the ugly sisters (both called Waltrip)?
After following the yellow brick road to Kansas (Speedway), will we all find our way back home - to the Nascar we all love and crave for?

Happy Christmas from one of those regular readers in the UK.

Merry Christmas to you and your family and to all Planeteers! JD, you give me one of the best gifts of all - a place to share, read, keep up with news, vent, and communicate with others at a site that is "clean". And it last all year! Most sincerely, Thank You. MC

Merry Christmas JD, although I don't post a lot these days, it's still a daily read for me. Thank you for your gift to us. I have made many friends and have gotten to meet many fans and those who make a living in Nascar and I can easily say it all started because of The Daly Planet.

Merry Christmas Planeteers! Although Santa didn't drop off a remote featuring a mute-Waltrip button, he did leave behind a Trevor Bayne die-cast. Hope your holiday was as good as mine!
